Getting kids ready to go back to school is not always an easy task. Agendas can be a great tool to keep you organized during the back to school transition. A great idea is to create your own (weekly) calendars to keep an overview of what you need to do for the week. You can stick the weekly calendar on to your fridge so the entire family has an overview of it.
Plan ahead with to-do lists
Even when you're a super organised parent, you may sometimes forget things. Don't worry! A simple to-do list can help you remember important things and keep your family organized. What time do you have to watch your son's soccer match? What time do you have to bring your daughter to her piano lesson? What items do you need to buy for grocery shopping? If your child is bored during the summer holiday, why not motivate them to help out at home with some chores, such as cleaning their room or watering the plants. Thus, establishing a summer routine is important, especially when your child is heading back to school. This way, it will be less stressful when your kids return back to school.
